Over the last few years I have noticed an ongoing trend in luxury watches and fine jewellery for creating more affordable lines, with ‘entry level’ price points; accessible to jewellery fans of younger age. One of the most obvious benefits in owning one of these pieces is that they have been created by a luxury brand, with the same level of craftsmanship and high quality materials as all the other jewels under the same name. Delicate pieces by Cartier, Tiffany & Co., Boucheron and many world famous are perceived as status symbol, no matter which collection they belong to. In this article, I will introduce you to iconic collections that will not break the bank.

Tiffany & Co.’s latest  ‘Tiffany T’ line features fine jewellery in yellow and white 18k gold with ‘T Smile’ earring priced at £515, increasing to £1,225 for the diamond studded version of this same design. The line includes incrementally larger versions of the ‘T Smile’ pendant necklaces, bracelets, and rings, catering for a spectrum of budgets. The chic design is streamlined and simple, making this line perfect for those looking to add a Tiffany & Co. piece to a growing fine jewellery collection.

One of the easiest ways to buy into high jewellery luxury brands is to select pieces which have fewer diamond and gemstone embellishments, and Dior’s ‘Oui’ and ‘Bois de Rose’ collections fit the bill perfectly. The gold pieces are simplistic, stackable and feature a trend led design – the usual Dior price-tag does not apply to these pieces, but purchasing still allows you to buy into the prestige of the brand.

Chopard’s ‘Ice Cube’ is another line which has proved to be popular due to the uncomplicated nature of its design. The most affordable piece is the 18k ethically certified ‘Fairmined’ white gold ‘Ice Cube Pure’ ring, priced at only £635. The range climbs in price with the introduction of diamonds throughout the jewellery, but here the distinguishable yet straightforward design is the draw of these pieces.

Whether you are looking for fine jewellery to give as a gift, or for pieces which will begin a lifelong jewellery collection, then consider some of the world’s finest jewellery brands and their designs which offer luxury for less.
