While most weddings are held in the summer months, the pre-holiday winter season has become the most popular time to propose marriage for many couples. According to Bridebook.co.uk, more than 100,000 proposals will take place during the Christmas week this year!

The wedding planning website compared statistics for 2016, and discovered that December was the most popular time to get engaged: 20% of all proposals take place in December. Moreover, more than half of all last year’s proposals were held during Christmas week from December 19th to 25th.

Will the same happen this year? It is very likely – according to Bridebook.co.uk data obtained after the analysis of the existing orders for 2017. They are certain that the most popular time for the “Will you marry me?” question will be the week before Christmas again this year, with the most popular day being December 23rd.

They say that the most cherished dreams come true at Christmas, so every man who is thinking of popping the question has every chance to create a moment of magic in the eyes of his partner. There is still time to organise a proposal and find a beautiful engagement ring, and this gallery can become an indispensable assistant in choosing the ideal jewellery for such an important occasion.
