Roman jeweller Bulgari is bringing a dash of glamour and exclusivity to London this autumn. The brand is setting up an interactive pop-up exhibition at Harrods from Friday October 30 till November 25. The exhibition space, designed in Bulgari’s signature colourful hues mirrors the interior of its flagship boutique on Via dei Condutti in Rome, offers jewellery connoisseurs the chance to view and buy these jewels at Harrods.

Crazy about Bulgari jewellery? Then, find your inner diva at the ‘Diva’ salon as Bulgari celebrates the iconic divas of yesteryears, all of whom had a strong love for its jewels: Elizabeth Taylor, Gina Lollobrigida, Anita Ekberg and Ingrid Bergman. Elizabeth Taylor, we know, owned many one-of-a-kind flamboyant and coveted pieces by Bulgari, while Gina Lollobrigida had her share of impressive jewels crafted by the “most important” jeweller in Rome. Step into the store to catch a glimpse of the exhibition windows, which pay tribute to these actresses of the ‘golden era’ with original imagery of them adorned in Bulgari’s jewels.

What’s interesting is that the Maison has created pieces exclusively for the pop-up, including the beautiful pink gold and malachite Diva pendant. The brand has captured beauty in joyful creations and reinterpreted its Diva pendant in a glamorous and sophisticated style. For those who fancy watches, Bulgari has unveiled the Octo Ultranero, encased in steel (coated with DLC) that features hands, index and crown crafted in red gold. Since its launch in 2012, The Octo has rapidly acquired central status within Bulgari’s watch collection. The timepiece which is exclusive to Harrods has a 50-hour power reserve and is limited to just 20 pieces.

The brand will gather a number of one-of-a-kind high jewellery pieces featured below under the same roof in the pop-up boutique. One of them is the MVSA necklace crafted in platinum with a resplendent oval cabochon Burma sapphire, weighing 58.56 ct, embraced by a sprinkling of round brilliant-cut diamonds, unevenly shaped Zambian emeralds and fancy brilliant cut and pavé diamonds is an ode to coloured gemstones. Another jewel worth snapping up is the 18k pink gold Diva pendant, limited to 50 pieces, set with malachite and accented by pavé diamonds. The Diva necklace crafted, yet again in pink gold, is adorned with mother-of-pearl elements and a round brilliant-cut diamond, while eight round brilliant-cut diamonds link the design together. The stunner of this collection is undeniably the Serpenti necklace and detachable pair of earrings, wherein the aesthetics is anchored by 94 bright, Zambian emerald beads, 24 buff-top rubies along with four pear-shaped brilliant cut diamonds and pavé diamonds.

The salon has a dressing table with an in-built camera, allowing you to photograph yourself wearing the chosen jewellery. On each Saturday during the four week pop-up exhibition, there will be a professional portrait photographer photographing customers in their chosen pieces. You too can try on and buy the limited edition Bulgari jewels exclusive to Harrods by making an appointment. For details, email [email protected] or call 0207 893 8508.
