Black Tie Affair: The Best Jewellery Looks of the BAFTAs Red Carpet 2025
This year's British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards, otherwise known as the BAFTAs, took over the Royal Festival Hall on Sunday, February 16. No doubt, the cold, dreary, and grey weather of London in winter dictated the fashion palette, which leaned heavily towards black, chocolate brown, and only the occasional splashes of spring shades. Jewellery was relatively 'safe', with beautiful sweeping lines of diamonds in classical necklaces, earrings and rings. However, thanks to the continued partnership between BAFTA and Bvlgari, there were some high jewels to get a little hot under the dickie bow about! Let's look at some of the best jewellery of the BAFTAs 2025…
This is the fourth consecutive year that Bvlgari has partnered with BAFTA as its exclusive jewellery and watch partner. As you might expect, therefore, some of the best jewellery looks on the night arrived courtesy of the Italian brand's archives. Anna Kendrick wore a black beaded Georges Chakra gown with a suite of emeralds and diamonds, including a necklace with an 11.35-carat octagonal gem, 12.28 carats of buff-top emeralds, 88 fancy-shaped diamonds for 9.16-carats and another 15.35 carats of diamonds. Her complementary earrings featured two sugarloaf emeralds, totalling 24,63 carats, while her ring had a cushion-shaped beryl of 3.98 carats.
