Watches & Wonders, the industry’s biggest annual event, had no shortage of beautiful new timepieces, but some of the most exciting launches were the ones pushing the limits of what a mechanical watch can actually do. From new movements engineered from scratch to cases built to survive the extreme conditions of space, let’s take a look at the watches that impressed not only for their beauty, but their ambition, too.
